McLane Company is hiring a Checker/Loader IV to join our warehouse team. This role is central to our distribution operations, ensuring products are loaded safely and correctly for delivery while upholding our high standards for quality and workplace safety.
What You'll Do
- Load and secure products in trailers in a safe manner.
- Complete job duties by hand or by use of powered equipment.
- Maintain quality control for Non conveyable products prior to loading.
- Bring any concerns about product integrity to a supervisor's attention.
- Communicate any special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
- Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
- Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
What We're Looking For
- At least 18 years of age.
- Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
Nice to Have
- High School Diploma or GED.
