ECS Federal is hiring a Senior Check Point Firewall Engineer to provide services for a Federal government client. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, planning, and maintaining the client's critical security infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with customer staff to design, plan and implement new firewall architectures, upgrades and features.
- Lead the administration of the client's Check Point firewalls including updates, upgrades, policy administration and validation.
- Review and implement customer changes consistent with existing policies.
- Review and update documentation to ensure consistency with current procedures.
- Manage and tune additional software blades such as IPS, URL, Application Control, AV, and Advanced Malware detection.
- Demonstrate willingness to work outside normal business hours to support outage resolution, planned maintenance, or upgrades.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with Check Point firewall technologies.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $130,000 - $150,000
Work Mode
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, based in Washington, DC, and remote options are available.
