Manage and grow a portfolio of channel partners in a designated geographic area, with a focus on delivering strong sales performance across all 3M divisions. Serve as the primary liaison between 3M and key distributors, building strategic relationships that support mutual business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead joint business planning sessions with priority channel partners to define growth targets and action plans
- Monitor sales performance and market penetration, conducting quarterly business reviews to track progress
- Implement merchandising initiatives and channel agreements to strengthen product visibility and availability
- Design and manage distributor incentive programs to drive new business development
- Collaborate with marketing teams to launch new products and maximize presence in distributor catalogs and promotions
- Develop and maintain a calendar for Marketing Development Funds (MDF) to optimize marketing impact
- Execute pricing actions, promotional campaigns, and large buy events in coordination with sales and operations
- Address logistics challenges by interpreting performance metrics and working with internal teams to resolve issues
- Use Salesforce.com to document activities, track opportunities, and maintain account plans
- Coordinate with 3M sales, marketing, and supply chain functions to ensure alignment and execution
Qualifications
- Several years of proven sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Degree holder with solid understanding of finance, logistics, and business operations
- Familiarity with category management principles and sales motivation techniques
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to lead difficult conversations and build processes
- Motivated to grow professionally and take on increasing responsibility
Work Location
This is a local position based in AMK, Singapore, with potential travel to support channel partners in Johor Bahru and Johor, Malaysia.
