Advanced Health Care of Albuquerque is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant to play a vital role on our clinical team. You will provide direct care and support to our residents, assisting with daily needs and supporting their recovery journey in a professional and supportive environment.

What You'll Do

Help patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
Monitor vital signs and intake/output as directed
Assist with meals, toileting, and patient transfers using gait belts or mechanical lifts
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
Answer call lights promptly and treat all patients with dignity, respect, and kindness
Support admissions, discharges, and patient orientation when needed
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with nurses and staff

What We're Looking For

Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in New Mexico
Ability to build rapport with residents through a compassionate and caring demeanor
Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care with empathy and compassion
Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning and intervention implementation
Stamina to stand and move about the facility to perform frequent rounds and respond to emergent situations as needed
Emotional resilience and ability to cope with the physical and emotional demands of working with residents who may have complex healthcare needs
Capability to lift and transfer residents safely, with proper body mechanics and assistance
Maintain regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work schedule
The job requires accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations
Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, stretch, twist, and exert muscle force repeatedly
Required vision includes close, distance, peripheral, and the ability to adjust focus
