Advanced Health Care of Albuquerque is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant to play a vital role on our clinical team. You will provide direct care and support to our residents, assisting with daily needs and supporting their recovery journey in a professional and supportive environment.

What You'll Do

  • Help patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
  • Monitor vital signs and intake/output as directed
  • Assist with meals, toileting, and patient transfers using gait belts or mechanical lifts
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
  • Answer call lights promptly and treat all patients with dignity, respect, and kindness
  • Support admissions, discharges, and patient orientation when needed
  • Document care accurately and communicate effectively with nurses and staff

What We're Looking For

  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in New Mexico
  • Ability to build rapport with residents through a compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care with empathy and compassion
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning and intervention implementation
  • Stamina to stand and move about the facility to perform frequent rounds and respond to emergent situations as needed
  • Emotional resilience and ability to cope with the physical and emotional demands of working with residents who may have complex healthcare needs
  • Capability to lift and transfer residents safely, with proper body mechanics and assistance
  • Maintain regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work schedule
  • The job requires accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, stretch, twist, and exert muscle force repeatedly
  • Required vision includes close, distance, peripheral, and the ability to adjust focus

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar medical setting
