US Physical Therapy is hiring a Certified Athletic Trainer

Responsibilities

  • Deliver athletic training support in an outpatient clinical environment under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
  • Assist in patient care by guiding exercise routines, applying therapeutic modalities, and managing clinical workflow
  • Provide on-site coverage for high school sports practices, competitions, and related events
  • Assess and manage sudden sports-related injuries, including immediate field evaluation and triage decisions
  • Design and carry out injury prevention initiatives tailored to student athletes
  • Maintain clear communication with coaching staff, families, and medical professionals about athlete treatment and return-to-activity protocols
  • Support rehabilitation plans and help athletes progress from injury back to full participation
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements
  • Foster community connections to strengthen athletic support systems and outreach efforts
