Kettler Enterprises, Inc. (KETTLER) is hiring a Central Business Manager to serve as a key leader in executing our Central Business Office strategy. This strategic role oversees centralized community responsibilities to enhance productivity and operational efficiency across an assigned portfolio of multi-family properties, focusing on financial operations and lease management.
What You'll Do
- Partner with the Director and stakeholders to implement the Central Business Office (CBO) strategy.
- Work remotely to efficiently deliver centralized community responsibilities.
- Perform Yardi input, timely rent collection batch postings, manage delinquencies, handle daily banking deposits, prepare collection documents, contact residents for overdue rent, complete legal filings, make court appearances, and escalate accounts to collections.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reviews to assess delinquency and collections success.
- Participate in client calls to report progress on CBO responsibilities.
- Assist in meeting revenue goals by contributing to occupancy targets, ancillary income, resident retention, and monitoring financial performance against budget.
- Complete resident security deposit accounting, manage refunds, and follow up on balances due.
- Handle all administrative functions, ensuring accurate and timely end-of-month reporting for A/R, A/P, and variance reports.
- Manage other lease responsibilities, including alterations, renewals, and affordable housing re-certifications.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent property management leadership training/experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive property management experience within a professional management organization, with accounting responsibilities for a diverse multi-site portfolio (conventional, LIHTC, subsidized, or government housing).
- Strong knowledge of multif residential property management, tenant/landlord laws, rules, and regulations.
- Ability to analyze, evaluate, and act on issues, reaching sound conclusions and taking appropriate action.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, mainly with spreadsheets and word processing in the Microsoft Suite.
- Proven results in financial management (including budgeting and NOI) and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to travel approximately 20%.
Nice to Have
- Sound knowledge of the DC Metro property management market.
- Familiarity with multi-family sector software platforms; Yardi experience is strongly preferred.

Team & Environment
This role reports to the Director, Central Business Office. It provides matrixed strategic leadership to Operations Vice Presidents, Regional Property Managers, Community Managers, the Property Accounting team, and Asset Management.
