Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily production to meet output goals, labor efficiency, and yield targets.
- Supervise the preparation, packaging, and distribution of retail and catering items while upholding standards for quality, freshness, food safety, and visual appeal.
- Oversee order management for retail, catering, and direct customer requests to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
- Lead, train, and coach team members on operational processes, product knowledge, and system usage.
- Support workforce planning, including scheduling, performance reviews, development activities, and team communication.
- Coordinate procurement of food, supplies, and packaging while tracking inventory and verifying incoming product quality and freshness.
- Manage logistics for deliveries and courier services, ensuring proper packaging for transport and distribution.
- Address inquiries and concerns from customers, stores, and catering clients, including preparing custom proposals and quotes.
- Maintain accurate records for recipes, preparation methods, cost analyses, and inventory documentation.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, government regulations, health and safety codes, sanitation protocols, and food safety standards.
- Support ongoing improvement efforts and promote a collaborative, communicative, and high-performing team culture.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and operational objectives.

On-site — GTA Central Kitchen
