Join McKesson Medical-Surgical as a Category Specialist. In this remote role within the U.S., you will support Category Managers on the Supplier Administration team, gaining hands-on experience and a clear path for advancement. You’ll build skills in analysis, communication, and project coordination through supplier item setup, customer restriction management, and engagement activities.
What You'll Do
- Support Category Managers with day-to-day activities, including supplier item setup and maintenance in internal systems.
- Manage customer restriction processes and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate supplier engagement activities and communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Master Data, Operations, and Marketing to execute initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation for category-related projects.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide exceptional service to suppliers, treating them as valued partners.
What We're Looking For
- HS diploma required.
- Typically, 0-2 years of relevant experience. A degree or equivalent may substitute.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel—including Pivots and VLOOKUPs—and PowerPoint).
- Experience managing multiple projects requiring frequent communication and problem solving.
Nice to Have
- A 4-year degree in business, finance, marketing, supply chain, or a related field.
Technical Stack
- MS Office Suite, with advanced focus on Excel and PowerPoint.

You will be part of the Supplier Administration team, reporting directly to Category Managers.
