Epiroc is looking for a Category Manager to join its global Strategic Sourcing team, based in Örebro, Sweden. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative and experienced global team, working with all phases of the purchasing process, from strategic planning to execution and follow-up. You will be responsible for creating and driving sourcing strategies that deliver on business goals in a global environment rich with over 113 different nationalities.

What You'll Do

Maintain and develop supplier relationships to ensure stable delivery performance, cost efficiency, flexibility, sustainability, and quality.
Monitor and consolidate the supplier base to ensure the best possible suppliers.
Secure that the supplier base fulfills corporate governance standards, including environmental and ethical standards.
Work cross-functionally within the organization and with suppliers and other Epiroc divisions globally.

What We're Looking For

Experience in strategic sourcing, sales, or a similar area.
Structured way of working and technical understanding.
Focus on and experience from finding solutions and solving problems.
Negotiation skills and great business acumen.
Sound knowledge and understanding of purchasing tools and processes as well as ERP systems.
Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
Pro-active and goal-oriented individual.
