About the Role

Lead the strategy and execution for assigned product categories in Germany, ensuring strong sales performance, inventory health, and alignment with local market trends through close coordination with buying, merchandising, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category strategies tailored to the German market
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Collaborate with buying teams to ensure optimal product assortment
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to meet demand
  • Work with merchandising to enhance product visibility and presentation
  • Track key performance indicators for category success
  • Support pricing strategies based on market dynamics and competition
  • Engage with suppliers to improve product offerings and terms
  • Identify new product opportunities aligned with customer preferences
  • Lead seasonal planning and promotional campaigns
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies
  • Coordinate with marketing on category-specific initiatives
  • Provide insights to leadership on market developments
  • Optimize product onboarding processes for efficiency
  • Drive initiatives to improve sell-through rates
  • Evaluate vendor performance and recommend actions
  • Support the development of localized content and descriptions
  • Leverage customer feedback to refine category offerings
  • Partner with logistics to address supply chain challenges
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends
