Brenntag North America is seeking a Cashbook Assistant for a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract. You will join the finance team, providing crucial administrative and processing support to ensure smooth financial operations across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Organise and prepare payment runs and adhoc payment requests.
- Perform lease system administration and handle online banking administration.
- Allocate sales and purchase ledger payments.
- Assist with organising and reviewing company car purchases and hire agreements.
- Liaise regularly with management and colleagues across 16 UK and Ireland depots.
- Maintain and develop Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- Undertake general administration tasks and provide support across the team, including some ledger work.
What We're Looking For
- A good working knowledge of MS Excel, including look ups and pivot tables.
- Excellent communication skills and a polite, professional and persuasive telephone manner.
- A keen eye for detail, including data input and order processing skills.
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Studying or wanting to study a Financial qualification.
- Ideally be a graduate, or have strong accounts or administration experience in a busy office environment.
