About the Role

Brenntag North America is seeking a Cashbook Assistant for a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract. You will join the finance team, providing crucial administrative and processing support to ensure smooth financial operations across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Organise and prepare payment runs and adhoc payment requests.
  • Perform lease system administration and handle online banking administration.
  • Allocate sales and purchase ledger payments.
  • Assist with organising and reviewing company car purchases and hire agreements.
  • Liaise regularly with management and colleagues across 16 UK and Ireland depots.
  • Maintain and develop Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
  • Undertake general administration tasks and provide support across the team, including some ledger work.

What We're Looking For

  • A good working knowledge of MS Excel, including look ups and pivot tables.
  • Excellent communication skills and a polite, professional and persuasive telephone manner.
  • A keen eye for detail, including data input and order processing skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Studying or wanting to study a Financial qualification.
  • Ideally be a graduate, or have strong accounts or administration experience in a busy office environment.

Team & Environment

You will work closely with the finance team and have regular liaison with management and colleagues across 16 UK and Ireland depots.

Work Mode

This role follows a local-country work mode and is based in our UK and Ireland locations.
