About the Role

Barclays is looking for a Cash Infra Scrum Master to facilitate Agile teams by ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, removing obstacles, and enhancing collaboration. You will act as a bridge between the team and external stakeholders to enable the delivery of high-quality, iterative results.

What You'll Do

  • Facilitate Scrum events, ensuring they are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
  • Support iteration execution by ensuring quality of ceremony artefacts and continuous customer value, maintaining backlog refinement, and iterating on stakeholder feedback.
  • Optimize team flow by identifying and facilitating the removal of conflicts, utilizing metrics to empower effective communication, and making all work visible.
  • Mitigate risks by identifying and escalating them to remove impediments and shield the Squad from interruptions.
  • Build high-performing teams by fostering and coaching Agile Team attributes, encouraging stakeholder collaboration, deputising 'in the moment leadership', and driving continuous improvement.
  • Manage stakeholders by facilitating collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, and vendors, and building trust.
  • Ensure governance and reporting by maintaining data quality and providing representation at required governance forums.
  • Advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
  • Lead collaborative assignments, guide team members, and identify new directions for projects.
  • Consult on complex issues and provide advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information and influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
  • Develop and manage large project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with multiple teams to integrate subprojects and align delivery timelines with the larger plan.
  • Identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies effectively, taking mitigation actions.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage change, ensuring required teams are engaged and project change is implemented successfully.
  • Manage project budget, ensuring delivery within the agreed budget.
  • Coordinate Release Management and Live proving activities.
  • Create various dashboards to provide overall status and reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience developing and managing large project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple teams to integrate subprojects and align delivery timelines.
  • Experience identifying and managing risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies effectively.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage change, ensuring required teams are engaged.
  • Experience managing project budgets, ensuring delivery within agreed budget.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Experience with Release Management and Live proving coordination.
  • Experience with various management tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, Agile, Advanced Excel.
  • Experience creating dashboards for status reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • PMP Certification, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Professional or equivalent (e.g., Scrum.org or Scrum Alliance qualifications).
  • Experience in Accounting/Liquidity, Tandem mainframe skills & Corporate Banking Domain.
  • Good communication skills and stakeholder management.
