Current is hiring a CAS Advisory Manager

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and verify financial statements and regulatory filings for public and private clients, including periodic reports such as 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxy statements, and registration documents
  • Develop and review recurring financial reporting packages covering monthly, quarterly, and annual periods, including management reports and investor presentations
  • Manage coordination of annual audits, quarterly reviews, and other engagements with external auditors and third-party consultants
  • Examine reconciliations, supporting documentation, and reporting packages to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across financial and regulatory outputs
  • Orchestrate collection of reporting inputs from various internal and external parties, including finance teams, legal, HR, investor relations, and client personnel
  • Draft and evaluate financial statement disclosures in alignment with U.S. GAAP requirements for both public and private organizations
  • Conduct research on accounting standards and disclosure rules, advising clients and stakeholders on new pronouncements and complex transactions
  • Support private clients during month-end and year-end closing cycles, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and general accounting tasks
  • Lead the assembly and standardization of internal and external reporting materials in partnership with clients and cross-functional teams
  • Identify and implement improvements in accounting and reporting workflows, emphasizing automation, standardization, and operational efficiency
  • Uphold internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulatory mandates, and reporting obligations
  • Act as a strategic advisor by identifying financial reporting risks and delivering actionable solutions to clients
  • Oversee, guide, and develop junior staff through coaching, training, and performance feedback to enhance team capability and individual growth
