Parsons Transportation Group is hiring a Carpenter Journeyman for a unique, long-term assignment on Kwajalein atoll in the Marshall Islands. This role offers the opportunity to live and work on island as part of our Federal Solutions team, performing critical carpentry tasks and supervising construction crews.

What You'll Do

Measure timber and building materials for construction projects.
Join and cut wood or other materials used in construction.
Install cabinetry, flooring, and build concrete forms.
Frame windows, doors, closets, and other foundational structures.
Read building plans to understand carpentry specifications.
Use power tools to prepare masonry, lumber, and concrete for builds.
Follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines.
Demolish fixtures for remodeling projects.
Supervise carpenter apprentices and laborers.

What We're Looking For

10+ years of hands-on construction experience.
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory position.
Detailed knowledge of construction procedures and OSHA guidelines.
Experience with blueprint reading, carpentry finishing, and crew management.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A current US Passport.

Nice to Have

Welding experience.
