About the Role

The Career Consultant, Associate at LHH provides personalized support to professionals navigating career transitions in the Atlanta, GA area. In this part-time, remote role, you'll help individuals identify career paths, develop job search strategies, and secure new opportunities using LHH's tools and technology.

What You'll Do

  • Assist candidates across a broad spectrum of career transition needs, including managing change, assessing skills and interests, defining career goals, and identifying career options.
  • Guide resume and LinkedIn profile development for candidates.
  • Support candidates in interviewing and salary negotiations.
  • Help candidates with new job assimilation.
  • Support candidates in moving forward with change and building confidence.
  • Build a 'best fit' career marketing plan consistent with the candidate’s experience, interests, and job market demand.
  • Take a proactive approach to engaging, motivating, and guiding candidates in the utilization of LHH resources and technology tools.
  • Demonstrate and share expertise in current job-related technology including LinkedIn, AI, ChatGPT, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Company and Business Research databases.
  • Help candidates connect to jobs using LHH tools and resources such as referrals to LHH Recruitment Solutions, LHH Talent Finder, and Job Sites, in accordance with governmental requirements.
  • Provide coaching expertise to help individuals confidently navigate the job search process and secure appropriate job opportunities.
  • Manage time and priorities related to individual program deliverables and requirements.
  • Complete candidate activity reporting.
  • Participate in customer projects, sometimes on-site.
  • Engage in LHH training and events when applicable.

What We're Looking For

  • English language proficiency
  • Must live within the Atlanta, GA geographical region (role is remote but location-bound)

Nice to Have

  • 8+ years of professional expertise in Career Consulting or related fields such as human resources, recruitment, career/leadership development, training, service/delivery operations, management consulting, or business leadership
  • Business/industry experience across diverse industries and populations in one of the following: IT, financial services, pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, professional services, marketing, or hospitality
  • Strong job market expertise to assist individuals in assessing and identifying where their skills and experience may be a potential fit across various industries and/or job functions
  • Knowledgeable of Talent Acquisition strategies used by recruiters and hiring managers, including ATS systems, applicant sourcing, video screening, salary inquiries, types of interviews, and how to collaborate with recruiters and what to expect
  • Agility in utilizing a variety of technology tools and resources including Zoom, Teams, online portals, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong service orientation with a passion for making a difference for individuals
  • Curiosity to learn about unique career/industry experience to assist in identifying viable options
  • Ability to prioritize and balance within multi-faceted roles requiring coaching and empathy combined with strong technology and analytical skills
  • College degree preferred
  • Any additional language skills are a plus

Compensation: $37.50 per hour for Career Transition Consulting.

Work Mode

Remote. While this role is remote, successful applicants must live within the Atlanta, GA geographical region.
