Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage provider calendars for virtual consultations, optimizing appointment scheduling and reducing conflicts.
  • Track upcoming telehealth sessions, verify availability of patients and providers, and resolve any technical difficulties.
  • Communicate with lab partners to coordinate test requests, monitor results, and relay lab findings to clinicians and patients efficiently.
  • Work with pharmacy networks to process prescription submissions, renewals, and respond to medication-related questions.
  • Monitor and prioritize patient messages through digital systems, ensuring timely responses and proper routing to clinical staff.
  • Refer time-sensitive or complicated cases to the appropriate care team personnel, while keeping patients updated on action plans.
  • Deliver compassionate and professional support to patients, addressing inquiries about appointments, lab work, medications, and follow-up care.
  • Guide patients in using telehealth tools, including resolving common technical issues and advising on best practices for virtual visits.
  • Keep electronic health records accurate and current, maintaining data quality and adherence to privacy standards.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and enhanced patient experiences, proposing actionable suggestions to management.
  • Follow all applicable healthcare regulations and organizational policies, including HIPAA and data protection requirements.
  • Attend team meetings to review patient feedback, resolve operational issues, and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
