Role Overview
As a Cardiac Rhythm Management Technical Field Engineer, you will act as a clinical and technical authority for CRM therapies and devices, supporting both internal teams and external medical professionals across the Houston area. Your expertise will be central to training, product adoption, and maintaining high standards of technical service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional training programs for employees and healthcare providers tied to new CRM product introductions and procedural updates
- Collaborate with leadership and field teams to identify performance challenges and opportunities for improvement
- Deliver technical insights to product development, marketing, and quality teams to inform future innovations
- Act as the primary technical contact for CRM-related inquiries from field staff and clinical customers
- Provide advanced education to physicians, fellows, and allied health professionals on CRM therapies and evidence-based practices
- Support implant procedures and outpatient clinics as needed based on regional priorities
- Train sales and service teams on product functionality, clinical data, and competitive landscape
- Coordinate onboarding and field certification for new hires in collaboration with management
- Interpret and communicate clinical evidence to enhance field team confidence and customer engagement
- Develop and deliver competitive intelligence training to strengthen market positioning
- Address complex technical issues in real time, ensuring continuity of customer relationships
- Work with clinical research teams to support study initiatives and physician-led investigations
- Partner with sales leadership to align technical training with business objectives
- Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key accounts through consistent technical support and value-driven interactions
Qualifications
- Residency within the Houston, TX territory is required
- Ability to travel frequently to multiple medical facilities across the region
- Valid driver’s license is mandatory
Work Environment
