Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is looking for a Cardiac Monitor Tech Transport for a casual role at AGH. In this position, you will transport patients on cardiac monitors throughout the facility while performing continuous observation, interpretation, and communication of cardiac rhythms.
What You'll Do
- Transport patients on cardiac monitors from their rooms to testing sites and back on a scheduled basis; accurately analyze and interpret ECG rhythms according to procedure.
- Assist in coordinating multiple patient testing when necessary.
- Provide information and direction to patients and visitors.
- Maintain transportation equipment in good working order.
What We're Looking For
- Basic cardiac dysrhythmia training or successful completion of a cardiac dysrhythmia training course upon hire.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
Nice to Have
- BLS and CPR certifications are preferred.
