Role Overview
As a Card Operations Analyst, you'll play a key role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of card program operations. You'll manage critical processes involving card networks, internal reporting, and vendor coordination, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and reconcile monthly card network invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and submit required quarterly reports, including Visa QOC and Mastercard QMR submissions
- Distribute monthly performance metrics to internal stakeholders
- Track daily operational data to detect trends, risks, and areas for improvement
- Manage relationships with third-party service providers, including onboarding and performance evaluation
- Ensure service providers meet network and internal validation requirements
- Maintain accurate responses to internal and external compliance questionnaires
- Develop and update operational documentation and process workflows
- Support adherence to card network rules and internal risk controls
- Analyze existing operations to identify automation and efficiency opportunities
- Assist Card Program Management with partner-related initiatives and tasks
- Perform additional duties as needed to support program goals
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in card operations, payments, or a fintech/banking setting
- Familiarity with EMV standards, card production, and fulfillment workflows
- Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on precision and detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects independently
- Solid analytical judgment and problem-solving capabilities
- Self-motivated with a hands-on approach to work
- Adaptable to evolving priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Strong project management experience, including coordination with technical teams
- Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to service excellence
Work Environment
This position operates in a hybrid model with physical offices in select cities, including Kansas City, San Francisco, Sunnyvale, and New York City. Remote support is available for qualified team members across the U.S., depending on role requirements.
