The Card Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring the efficient, compliant, and secure operation of Lead's card products, including debit, credit, and prepaid cards. This role involves daily processing, reconciliation, compliance, reporting, and process improvement, working closely with internal teams, vendors, and card network partners.
What You'll Do
- Review and manage monthly card network invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation.
- Prepare and submit quarterly reporting deliverables on card networks, including Visa QOC and Mastercard QMR.
- Generate and distribute monthly internal reporting metrics related to card program performance.
- Monitor daily card program metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Oversee vendor relationships related to the card program, including onboarding, performance reviews, and contract management.
- Manage the service provider validation process in accordance with network requirements and internal policies.
- Own and maintain responses to internal and external questionnaires, ensuring consistency and alignment.
- Create, update, and manage procedures and documentation to support card operations.
- Support compliance with card network (e.g., Visa, Mastercard) regulations and internal risk management policies.
- Analyze and document card operations processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and automation.
- Support Card Program Management with relevant tasks associated with all card-related partners
- All other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 3-5 years in card operations, payments, or a related fintech/banking environment
- Working knowledge of card industry best practices, including EMV standards, card manufacturing, and fulfillment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong project management skills and management of development, maintenance and support teams
- Client first mentality
- Strong judgment, instincts and analytical skills
- Willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong organizational skills with experience in managing multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously

Salary range: Zone 1: $105,000 - $125,000 (SF/Bay Area, NYC, Seattle); Zone 2: $89,000 - $110,000 (Los Angeles, Chicago, Austin, Denver, Boston, Washington DC, San Diego, Philadelphia, Portland, Sacramento, Miami); Zone 3: $65,500 - $83,000 (Other US Metros)
