We are seeking a Capital Markets Paralegal to support our legal and compliance team at Wealthfront. This is a full-time position open to US-based remote candidates, with responsibilities centered around capital markets transactions and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Support capital markets transactions and ongoing compliance requirements
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents related to capital markets
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain accurate records and filings for securities-related matters
- Monitor changes in regulations and advise on implications
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Paralegal certification or relevant legal support experience
- Experience with capital markets, securities law, or financial services
- Strong organizational and document management skills
- Ability to work remotely and collaborate across teams
Nice to Have
- Experience working at a fintech company or financial institution
- Familiarity with SEC regulations and compliance frameworks
- Knowledge of automated investment platforms or robo-advisors
Team & Environment
Part of the Legal and Compliance team, this role reports to a Legal or Compliance lead. The team is small and operates within a collaborative, compliance-focused environment.
