As a key contributor to global procurement, you will lead strategic sourcing initiatives for capital equipment, ensuring timely delivery of critical projects across manufacturing sites in the U.S., Mexico, France, and Hungary. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Finance to support business-critical objectives and maintain alignment with global procurement strategies.
What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end procurement for capital equipment projects, ensuring on-time execution in line with business priorities
- Lead RFQ processes and supplier selection in alignment with category strategies
- Negotiate and establish master supply agreements with key capex suppliers
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the supply base
- Oversee supplier performance through regular reviews and compliance activities
- Collaborate with regional procurement teams and global category leaders to ensure consistency and strategic alignment
Requirements
- Engineering degree with a minimum of five years of procurement experience, preferably in capital equipment
- Proven ability to manage complex sourcing projects and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working in regulated industries such as medical technology, pharmaceuticals, or automotive
