AECOM is hiring a Candidate Technologist - Transport Planning

Here is what you will be doing: As a Candidate Technologist in our Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering Team, you will be responsible for undertaking specialised analysis and developing traffic / transportation designs on a diverse array of infrastructure projects. These projects will encompass major roads, public transport systems, non-motorized transport, railway corridors, ports and harbours, as well as urban developments across Africa and beyond. Technical Excellence: - Contributes to development of designs by gathering, correlating and analysing engineering data using computer software and established procedures and standards. - When possible, collects and analyses information from discipline and interdisciplinary project models. - Develops the design content with support by applying both design and technical knowledge to ensure the production of high-quality outputs by following project timelines. - Works on well-defined and routine engineering assignments involving calculations, specifications, sketches, diagrams, specific discipline models, drawings, reports and tender documents. - Performs work under the agreed-upon budget and schedule with supervision. - Coordinates with other team members as applicable for the design process's continuity. - Maintains and develops a high level of technical skills and abilities, ensuring the quality of production for accuracy.
