Responsibilities
- Own the end to end candidate experience from application through offer and acceptance
- Coordinate & schedule interviews and ensure clear, timely communication with candidates throughout the process
- Identify friction in the hiring process and proactively improve it
- Maintain clean, accurate ATS data and drive scorecard completion in Ashby
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to keep hiring processes organized and moving quickly
- Design and operate a structured onboarding experience that helps new hires ramp quickly
- Continuously improve the candidate and onboarding experience based on feedback and operational insights
- Ensure every interaction with Freshpaint feels thoughtful, organized, and high-ownership

- comfortable working across recruiting, hiring managers, and people operations teams, ensuring every interaction with Freshpaint reflects our standards for clarity, organization, and ownership
- think like an owner. You run toward problems, take initiative to fix what isn’t working, and continuously raise the bar for how candidates and employees experience the company
Nice to Have
- Experience designing or improving employee onboarding programs
- Experience working closely with People Ops or HR teams on new hire onboarding
- Prior experience supporting hiring across both technical and GTM roles
- Experience with Juicebox & Justworks
- Experience at an early stage or high growth SaaS startup
- Strong candidate communication or employer brand instincts
