ContiTech USA, Inc. is hiring a Canada Key Account Manager - Commercial Specialty Tire - Bilingual

About the Role

Vergölst GmbH is hiring a bilingual Key Account Manager to own and grow our commercial specialty tire business in Canada. You will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with major accounts, focusing on strategic opportunities within Earthmoving and Port products. Your core mission is to create and implement plans for profitable growth by increasing market share and improving price positioning.

What You'll Do

  • Cultivate and maintain favorable contact with key and major accounts.
  • Call on potential new key accounts and sustain a high record of sales achievement.
  • Explain features and merits of products to new and existing customers, demonstrating them and assisting in their best application.
  • Answer product questions, coordinate sales negotiations, close transactions, take orders, and investigate warranty claims.
  • Analyze and interpret sales records, trends, costs, and revenue.
  • Create, implement, and achieve a consistent plan for profitable growth.
  • Develop and manage the implementation of strategic sales, marketing, and operational initiatives.
  • Work with senior management to formulate business unit vision and strategy.
  • Ensure P&L costs are in line with overall objectives for assigned accounts.
  • Research and prepare detailed business overviews of new business opportunities.
  • Act as a Business Consultant externally with clients, conduct profitability analysis, and articulate the value proposition.
  • Administer and direct field support for existing accounts and identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and manage inventory and production planning to meet forecast objectives.
  • Control expenses and develop monthly and yearly Sales Forecasts.
  • Recommend innovative changes to ensure business retention and new growth.
  • Provide Market Intelligence by obtaining competitive information and analyzing price positioning.
  • Manage all pricing activity for the Fleet Sales Channel.
  • Coordinate internal programs designed to assist in driving sales at Cross Regional fleet accounts.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience OR 6+ years of related experience if no Bachelor’s degree.
  • Fluent in both English and French.
  • Tire industry experience.
  • Ability to travel extensively within Canada; must live close to a major airport.
  • Ability to handle tires on occasion.
  • Strong sales experience and business acumen with solid interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical skills and strong presentation skills.
  • Financial knowledge.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Legal Authorization to work in Canada (no visa sponsorship).

Nice to Have

  • Off-Road Tire industry experience.

Team & Environment

This role operates at the Leadership Level: Leading Self.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary: $90,000 - $110,000

Work Mode

This is a remote position for candidates based in Canada.
