Agilent Technologies is seeking a Campus Hire - Field Service Engineer to support the on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of Agilent's systems and solutions. This role ensures optimal performance and customer satisfaction through direct customer engagement and collaboration with internal teams.
What You'll Do
- Supports customers through on-site activities including installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of company and multi-vendor systems solutions
- Installs and optimizes hardware, software, and network products and configurations at customer sites
- Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems
- Performs maintenance and repair services
- Ensures customer satisfaction by advising on preventive maintenance and configurations that may impact product performance
- Proactively responds to potential equipment or software issues to prevent unplanned interruption of customers' business
- Delivers fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems, and applications software
- Serves as an internal resource on technical issues and manages product escalations
- Collaborates with Agilent teams such as Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D to provide solutions to customers
- May deliver internal technical training and maintenance seminars and workshops for field engineers or customers
- May train other field engineers or customers
- May calibrate equipment on-site for large volume customers
- May qualify leads
- Must consent to participate and meet Agilent approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain access to customer sites
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering
- Typically, at least 3+ years relevant experience
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent team player with a positive working attitude
- Must consent to participate and meet Agilent approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain access to customer sites

- Post-graduate, certification, and/or license may be required
