The Campus Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the successful operation of an Aviation Institute of Maintenance campus, driving student recruitment and retention, managing financial resources, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading staff to achieve institutional goals. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the future of aviation maintenance education across multiple locations nationwide.
What You'll Do
- Ensure compliance with accreditation, state requirements, and other regulatory standards, working closely with Corporate Compliance.
- Drive student retention and enrollment efforts to increase active student count.
- Prepare and manage the operational budget in collaboration with the Regional Director, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints, including payroll and facility costs.
- Oversee the management of physical facilities, monitoring associated expenses such as utilities and rent, and assessing needs for potential expansion.
- Staff all departments by collaborating with Corporate Department Directors and the Regional Director, structuring roles according to established policies and published job descriptions.
- Prepare for initial or ongoing accreditation, coordinate Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings, and manage Advisory Board meetings by assigning appropriate staff.
- Assign educational duties to the Director of Education, focusing on the alignment of educational programs with student needs.
- Address employee grievances promptly and communicate relevant issues to the Regional Director or Director of Human Resources for further action.
- Stay informed on Human Resource topics and ensure compliance with policies regarding employee medical conditions that may affect leave eligibility.
- Conduct monthly school meetings to ensure clear communication of policies, goals, and progress toward benchmarks.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with both school and corporate staff, upholding the institution's reputation and supporting its mission.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Regional Director, President, or Vice President of Operations.
- Supervise the entire school staff, including the Director of Education, Director of Compliance & Administration, Registrar, Student Service Coordinator, Financial Aid Officer, Bursar, Career Services Coordinator, and any other positions designated to report directly to them.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must have at least 5-10 years of management experience within a post-secondary educational institution, preferably within a private sector.
- Positive business and sales aptitude and background.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven, compliance-oriented educational environment.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, strong work ethic, and professionalism.
- Persuasive and effective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service in an educational setting.
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work independently and as collaborative team member and have exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer skills are required with proficiency in MS Office applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Ability and willingness to work outside of regular work shifts, including evenings and/or weekends as necessary or as requested by Supervisor.

Compensation: $100,000 to $130,000 per year, plus significant bonus potential tied to achieving key performance metrics and company goals.
Work Mode
This position is available at locations nationwide. The role requires the ability and willingness to work outside of regular work shifts, including evenings and/or weekends as necessary or as requested by Supervisor.
