AECOM is hiring a full-time CAD / BIM Specialist within its Building Engineering Division. As part of the Specialisms Operating unit, you will join the Technology engineering group to provide BMS design and support services, enhancing the work of our Mechanical and Electrical teams.
What You'll Do
- Perform complex CADD assignments and coordinate CADD drawing production in support of the CADD manager.
- Complete advanced applications, scaling, and editing tasks using computer-aided design and drafting equipment to meet set results and deadlines.
- Digitize or trace sketches and concepts from designers using CADD software like AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Make decisions with a general understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve results.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum HNC-level related engineering mechanical qualification or a Degree in building services engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science.
- Good BMS systems knowledge (e.g., Trend, Tridium, Niagara) gained through industry experience working for a BMS/Control systems manufacturer, as a contractor or specialist systems integrator, or in a similar consultancy role.
