Responsibilities

  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to prevent stockouts.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely delivery.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers to ensure they meet quality and delivery standards.
  • Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of procurement activities, including contracts, invoices, and purchase orders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
  • Develop and maintain a database of approved suppliers and their capabilities.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the financial impact of procurement decisions.
  • Coordinate with logistics and transportation providers to ensure efficient delivery of goods.
  • Implement and maintain a system for tracking and evaluating supplier performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve sustainability in procurement processes.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Manage the procurement of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce lead times and improve delivery performance.
  • Conduct regular audits of procurement processes to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to manage procurement budgets and ensure cost control.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement processes.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
