Remote Raven is looking for a Business Systems Architect to design and evolve the technology ecosystem that powers how we operate. This role goes far beyond maintaining software tools. You will be responsible for architecting how systems, data, and workflows connect across the organization so that our team can operate efficiently, make better decisions, and scale effectively.
What You'll Do
- Own the long-term technology and systems roadmap for the organization.
- Evaluate how systems support company operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design scalable system architecture that supports the company’s future growth.
- Partner with leadership to redesign workflows and improve operational visibility across departments.
- Design how core business systems connect and interact across the organization, ensuring data flows reliably between tools such as HubSpot, Purlieu, QuickBooks Online, and other platforms.
- Build and maintain automations using platforms such as Make or similar tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual work across the company.
- Serve as the primary administrator for HubSpot CRM, ensuring data integrity, managing permissions, and building dashboards and reports that support better decision-making.
- Develop reporting infrastructure, dashboards, and system visibility that enable leadership to better understand operational performance and make informed strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with leaders across Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations to redesign workflows and ensure systems effectively support how work moves through the organization.
- Research, test, and implement AI tools and workflows that improve productivity and operational efficiency across the company.
- Ensure the team understands how systems work and evolve by providing training, documentation, and guidance when new tools or workflows are implemented.
- Manage incoming system and automation requests while maintaining a responsive, service-oriented mindset toward teammates across the organization.
What We're Looking For
- Solid understanding of business operations and workflow design.
- Experience building API automations with Make or similar platforms.
- Proven experience integrating multiple SaaS tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience implementing AI tools or AI-powered workflows.
- Excellent communication skills for documentation, training, and cross-team collaboration.
Nice to Have
- Experience with HubSpot CRM administration.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online integrations.
- Certifications: HubSpot, Make and AI Certifications.
