Huhtamaki is hiring a Business Process Specialist

The Business Process Specialist will serve as a key contributor within the finance organization, responsible for evaluating and refining end-to-end business processes in a principal company setting. The role emphasizes intercompany logistics, export operations, and transactional accuracy across multiple legal entities and regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with technology teams to guide ERP enhancements, ensuring transactional impacts are accurately reflected in system design
  • Map and assess core processes including intercompany shipping, export workflows, and order-to-cash cycles across global entities
  • Examine the financial and operational effects of current processes, focusing on performance, precision, and inter-entity coordination
  • Apply direct experience in finance or customer-facing operations to identify real-world inefficiencies and bottlenecks
  • Utilize functional expertise in Oracle Fusion ERP to uncover system limitations and opportunities for automation or improvement
  • Detect process deficiencies and control vulnerabilities, conducting thorough impact analyses
  • Design and propose standardized solutions that align with both business objectives and technical capabilities
  • Engage stakeholders across functions and geographies to gain alignment and support implementation of process changes

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or operations is required, along with 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in financial operations such as order-to-cash, intercompany accounting, or general accounting. A solid foundation in accounting principles is essential. Candidates must demonstrate practical experience with Oracle systems, particularly Fusion ERP, and a proven ability to lead process analysis and improvement initiatives.

Preference will be given to those with experience in multinational organizations operating across diverse regions. Background in customer service or order management—especially in export settings—is advantageous. Familiarity with Value Added Tax and other indirect taxes is highly valued. Experience in multi-entity environments or principal company models is a strong plus.
