Responsibilities
- Interpret business needs and convert them into executable business logic using IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM).
- Develop ODM components including Decision Tables, Decision Trees, Action Rules, and Ruleflows; define Business Object Models (BOM), Execution Object Models (XOM), and Business Action Language (BAL) vocabulary.
- Utilize Rule Designer in Eclipse and manage rules through Decision Center, including version control, governance, rule approvals, and release procedures.
- Ensure rule accuracy through scenario-driven testing, regression validation, and peer code reviews.
- Optimize rule performance via profiling and implement caching strategies to enhance system reliability.
- Partner with Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts; guide business users in Decision Center across all stages of rule changes.
