About the Role
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools that enable data-driven decision-making across departments. The engineer collaborates with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions using modern BI platforms and data modeling techniques.
Responsibilities
- Design and build data models to support analytics and reporting
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows for data integration
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for business users
- Optimize query performance for large datasets
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts on reporting needs
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems
- Support data governance and metadata management
- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues
- Work with cloud-based data platforms and storage solutions
- Participate in agile development cycles
- Document technical specifications and data lineage
- Translate business requirements into technical BI solutions
- Maintain existing reporting infrastructure
- Implement automated reporting processes
- Support self-service analytics capabilities
- Use SQL and other query languages to extract and analyze data
- Work with dimensional modeling concepts
