American Credit Acceptance is hiring a Business Development Specialist I to build and maintain profitable lending partnerships with automotive dealerships. You will drive business growth by demonstrating value to dealer management, leveraging a deep understanding of our lending programs through phone contact and regular in-person visits.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities
- Convert leads into active dealership partnerships
- Educate and develop new and existing dealerships
- Stay abreast of competitive intelligence and solicit dealer feedback
- Drive towards prospecting, volume, and participation goals
- Work within internal teams to ensure an efficient process for partners
- Utilize available technologies to gain and capture business information
- Remain flexible to adapt quickly based on business and territory needs
- Demonstrate ability to identify resolutions in problematic scenarios
- Perform other tasks as assigned
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of combined sales and finance experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and possess strong customer interaction skills
- Ability to solve problems, digest and apply information, learn new skills, and think critically
- Highly proficient computer skills, specifically in Microsoft applications
- Excellent written and spoken communication as well as presentation skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent time management skills, highly energetic, and self-motivated
Nice to Have
- A 4-year college degree in marketing, sales, or business
- Proficiency in Dynamics CRM
