United States of America Remote (Country) Employment $45,000 - $65,000/year

FeedbackFruits is hiring a Business Development Representative (US Northeast region)

About the Role

As a Business Development Representative for the US Northeast region, you’ll play a key role in expanding market presence by proactively identifying and engaging decision-makers in higher education. You'll focus on high-potential accounts, initiating conversations with Deans, CIOs, instructional designers, and academic leaders to understand institutional challenges and opportunities.

What You'll Do

You’ll lead outbound efforts using email, phone, and LinkedIn to start meaningful dialogues. Your outreach will be personalized, insight-driven, and designed to spark interest in transformative learning tools. You’ll conduct initial discovery calls to assess needs, urgency, and alignment with our solutions, ensuring each conversation moves prospects forward.

You’ll collaborate closely with Account Executives, providing clear summaries and context so transitions are seamless. By maintaining accurate records in HubSpot, you’ll help the team make informed pipeline decisions. You’ll also support sandbox access and demos, identify internal advocates, and surface potential obstacles early.

Active participation in training and skill-building is expected, along with sharing feedback that helps refine product messaging and marketing strategy. Occasional travel to US-based events and partner sites—2–3 times per year—will support relationship-building and market insight.

Requirements

  • Located on the US East Coast to align with Amsterdam-based teams, with flexibility to engage prospects in Central and Western time zones
  • Minimum of two years in a B2B SaaS SDR or BDR role with proven success generating qualified US opportunities
  • Strong outbound communication skills via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Ability to lead structured discovery meetings and deliver product walkthroughs independently
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, particularly HubSpot Sales Workspace
  • Self-driven with the discipline to thrive in a remote environment
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across marketing, sales, and product teams
  • Adaptability in a fast-moving, growing organization

Experience in higher education or long sales cycles is a plus.

Benefits

  • Fully covered travel to Amsterdam for onboarding and biannual company gatherings
  • 25 paid holidays annually, plus a birthday day off
  • 401K plan with company support
  • €550 annual learning budget and 3 paid learning days
  • 3 days of paid volunteering leave
  • Unlimited mental health support through OpenUp
