As a Business Development Representative for the US Northeast region, you’ll play a key role in expanding market presence by proactively identifying and engaging decision-makers in higher education. You'll focus on high-potential accounts, initiating conversations with Deans, CIOs, instructional designers, and academic leaders to understand institutional challenges and opportunities.
What You'll Do
You’ll lead outbound efforts using email, phone, and LinkedIn to start meaningful dialogues. Your outreach will be personalized, insight-driven, and designed to spark interest in transformative learning tools. You’ll conduct initial discovery calls to assess needs, urgency, and alignment with our solutions, ensuring each conversation moves prospects forward.
You’ll collaborate closely with Account Executives, providing clear summaries and context so transitions are seamless. By maintaining accurate records in HubSpot, you’ll help the team make informed pipeline decisions. You’ll also support sandbox access and demos, identify internal advocates, and surface potential obstacles early.
Active participation in training and skill-building is expected, along with sharing feedback that helps refine product messaging and marketing strategy. Occasional travel to US-based events and partner sites—2–3 times per year—will support relationship-building and market insight.
