Trident is looking for a Business Development Representative to support our team of licensed insurance agents. In this role, you will be the critical first point of contact for new leads, focused on converting inquiries into booked, high-show discovery appointments. Your work enables our agents by handling the initial connection and scheduling.
What You'll Do
- Respond to all new inbound leads within 5 minutes using HubSpot.
- Make initial connection calls using Aircall and a provided script.
- Follow up consistently with uncontacted leads through calls and text messaging.
- Schedule 15-minute discovery calls directly on licensed agents’ calendars.
- Confirm appointment details including date, time, time zone, and contact information.
- Prepare prospects for their appointment and provide a warm handoff to the agent.
- Accurately document all calls, outcomes, and notes in HubSpot.
- Update Slack with lead outcomes and collaborate with agents as needed.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound and inbound calls daily.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a clear, professional phone presence.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using CRM tools.
- Coachable, positive, and resilient with a strong follow-up mindset.
- Able to work independently in a remote environment.
Nice to Have
- HubSpot experience is a plus.
