Valatam was looking for a Business Development Representative (Remote)

Valatam is seeking a Business Development Representative to generate qualified sales leads for our US and Canadian clients. You'll be responsible for high-volume prospecting to schedule discovery calls, playing a key role in connecting businesses with remote talent.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and contact potential clients to schedule discovery calls for salespeople.
  • Add 40 vetted leads daily to Apollo.io with personalized email and LinkedIn sequences.
  • Make 100 phone calls daily as part of your outreach.
  • Perform high-touch manual outreach and follow-ups via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Keep Hubspot CRM updated and track daily activities in a scorecard.
  • Participate in daily huddles and weekly feedback sessions.
  • Experiment with outreach on platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
  • Build community awareness by responding to Quora, LinkedIn, and blog posts recommending services.
  • Attend sales huddles and trainings.

What We're Looking For

  • C1/C2 English writing and speaking skills with a neutral accent.
  • Experience with Hubspot, Apollo.io, or similar CRM/outreach tools.
  • 1+ years of BDR and sales cold-calling experience setting sales appointments.
  • Independent, problem solver, adaptable, with great communication skills.
  • Must LOVE cold-calling and the art of selling.
  • A quiet home office with a desk and office chair.
  • Stable internet with at least 10 MBPS download & 2 MBPS upload speed.
  • A laptop/desktop with 8GB RAM, a 1.6GHz processor, and 50GB free hard-drive space, a headset, and a smartphone.
  • Access to a backup place of work and a secondary backup internet option (e.g., mobile hotspot).
  • Reside in Latin America.
  • Available to work Monday-Friday, 9 am - 5 pm EST.
