About the Role

Drive meaningful growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within large healthcare systems. This role focuses on strategic, research-backed prospecting rather than high-volume outreach, ensuring alignment with long-term sales objectives and market needs.

What You'll Do

  • Lead outbound efforts into a prioritized portfolio of healthcare organizations, building relationships that generate qualified sales opportunities.
  • Uncover new stakeholders and expansion pathways within existing health system accounts in collaboration with Product and Customer Success teams.
  • Design and execute account-based campaigns tailored to multi-entity healthcare organizations.
  • Conduct in-depth research on organizational structures, key decision makers, and industry trends to personalize engagement strategies.
  • Lead discovery conversations to assess fit, qualify interest, and transition validated opportunities to sales teams.
  • Track and report on outreach activity and pipeline progression using CRM platforms like Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Test and integrate modern tools—including automation and AI-driven solutions—to enhance prospecting efficiency.
  • Align messaging and outreach with cross-functional initiatives to reflect real-time customer and market feedback.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of business development experience in SaaS or HealthTech environments.
  • Proven ability to engage complex healthcare organizations such as hospital networks or enterprise health systems.
  • Confidence initiating conversations with senior-level stakeholders and articulating value clearly.
  • Self-driven work style with the ability to manage a personal pipeline independently.
  • Preference for research-informed outreach over mass prospecting tactics.
  • Curiosity about emerging tools, including AI and automation, to refine outreach strategies.
  • Interest in long-term development toward a customer-facing sales leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AI-powered sales tools that support lead research, outreach automation, or contact discovery.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Marketing, or Customer Success teams to surface expansion opportunities.

Work Mode

This role is hybrid. Bay Area–based employees are expected to work from the San Mateo office at least three days per week. Remote candidates are welcome, with occasional travel required to headquarters for company events and team gatherings.
