Hotman Group is hiring a Business Development Representative focused on outbound prospecting and client acquisition for our cybersecurity and GRC consulting services. This is a contract-to-hire position with a clear path to permanent employment for high performers. You will be responsible for starting conversations and booking qualified meetings with potential clients.
What You'll Do
- Research target companies, industries, and key decision-makers.
- Build and manage prospect lists.
- Execute outbound outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, networking, events, and other channels.
- Write personalized outreach that reflects the prospect’s business needs and likely pain points.
- Start conversations with qualified buyers and move them toward a scheduled meeting.
- Track activity, pipeline progress, and notes in HubSpot.
- Partner with internal leadership on messaging, priorities, and target account strategy.
- Report weekly on outreach activity, meeting volume, pipeline movement, and market observations.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in business development, sales development, lead generation, or outbound prospecting.
- Confidence reaching out to new prospects and starting conversations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good judgment around messaging, tone, and follow-up.
- Ability to stay consistent and disciplined with outreach activity.
- Experience using a CRM such as HubSpot or a similar platform.
- Professional, self-directed work style in a remote environment.
- Located in the USA with permanent work authorization.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable internet and a secure remote workspace.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling or supporting services in cybersecurity, GRC, compliance, consulting, or B2B professional services.
- Experience working with mid-market or enterprise buyers.
- Experience turning meetings into pipeline or closed business.
- Closing experience (a plus, but not required).
