Smartbug Media was looking for a Business Development Representative

Smartbug Media is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities to fuel the company's growth.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and generate new business leads through targeted outreach
  • Conduct research to identify potential clients and key decision-makers
  • Engage prospects to understand their needs and qualify opportunities
  • Schedule and coordinate introductory meetings between prospects and account executives
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities in the CRM
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a business development, sales, or lead generation role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging prospects
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your pipeline
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets
  • Basic understanding of CRM software for tracking leads and activities

This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be located within the United States.
