Aquia Inc. seeks a Business Development Representative to have a direct impact on our success. You will perform proactive outbound appointment setting focused on target markets, qualifying prospects from lead status into the opportunity stage.
What You'll Do
- Build prospect lists and execute outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Create, nurture, and qualify leads by engaging inbound leads and performing cold outreach.
- Document and improve the outbound process.
- Attend internal sales and team meetings.
- Overachieve monthly KPIs.
- Work with other BDRs to optimize inbound/outbound motions and plan for team growth.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and accountability.
- Identify market leverage points, trends, and success strategies.
- Become an IoT expert.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of SaaS sales experience.
- Thrives amid ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Experience with SFDC, Sales Engagement Platforms (SalesLoft/Outreach/Gong Engage), LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Strong, professional communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage effectively with customers and prospects.
- Passionate about delivering excellence and excited by ambitious growth targets.
Nice to Have
- Bilingual (Spanish).
- Experience as a BDR/SDR in the IoT space.

Team & Environment
Part of the Marketing team, collaborating with Sales Account Executives, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations. You will report to the VP of Marketing.

- Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 base salary + equity: New hire equity grant.
