Addepar is hiring a Business Development Officer - Centers of Influence to manage and expand relationships within Wealth Tech consulting teams at leading Americas-based custodians. This role sources referrals and shepherds them through the sales cycle, driving engagement and education to enhance market reach and deliver value to clients.
What You'll Do
- Drive outcomes that impact new sales and revenue targets, with compensation tied to closed/won business from referrals.
- Help define and build a new function, establishing processes and protocols to scale it.
- Actively support and mine assigned Custodian’s business development pipelines to uncover new sales opportunities.
- Shepherd opportunities through the sales process in partnership with Account Executives and other GTM personnel.
- Proactively drive awareness of Addepar's full product suite and services, often running product demos and education sessions.
- Develop a deep understanding of Partners products/services and leverage it to support new business opportunities.
- Coordinate involvement of Addepar company personnel (sales, services, management) to meet partner objectives.
- Ensure all GTM personnel are supported to maximize a Partner when pursuing a new business opportunity.
- Keep Addepar’s CRM system up to date on all relevant opportunities and implement analytics to share insights.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of Go to Market experience via software sales, partnerships, or wealth management.
- Detailed knowledge of the wealth management and Wealth Tech industries.
- Robust network of colleagues within the custody and RIA markets.
- Strong work ethic, upbeat, proactive collaborator with a 'company first' mentality.
- Excellent relationship management, problem-solving, communication (written and oral), and organizational skills.
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM.
- Willing to travel between 25% - 50% of the time.
Nice to Have
- Experience as a technology consultant, preferably at a large US custodian.

Benefits & Compensation
- Base salary: $122,000 - $190,000
