Remote Recruitment is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead partnership efforts for a fast-growing UK-based events company focused on wellness and high-performance brands. You will build and manage a robust pipeline of brand partnerships to fuel international events, working remotely from South Africa.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of fitness, wellness, and high-performance brand leads.
- Research, identify, and qualify 5–10 new strategic partnership opportunities each week.
- Initiate and lead sales outreach through email, DMs, video messaging, and calls.
- Secure and host 10–15 intro or discovery calls per month with qualified brand prospects.
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and onboarding.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales to define partnership strategies and deal structures.
- Maintain CRM systems with up-to-date lead data, activities, and outcomes.
- Use Notion or Airtable to track outreach activities and optimise workflow.
- Monitor trends and competitor activity in the wellness space to inform outreach.
- Support special initiatives, such as international event launches and themed campaigns.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years’ experience in business development, sales, or partnership management.
- Demonstrable passion for wellness, fitness, biohacking, or high-performance brands.
- Proven ability to manage sales pipelines and close deals in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a persuasive and friendly tone.
- Comfortable using CRM tools such as HubSpot, plus Notion or Airtable for task management.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and highly organised.
- Must have access to a laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet remote working setup.
