VALD is hiring a Business Development Manager

About the Role

The Business Development Manager will drive sales and client engagement for VALD's human-measurement technology, leveraging clinical or allied health experience to educate and convert prospects. This role involves global travel, product demonstrations, and building relationships with clients and distributors in clinical, performance, and tactical environments.

What You'll Do

  • Attend conferences and perform product demonstrations in-person and via teleconferences in clinical, performance, and tactical settings
  • Set up and oversee product trials
  • Nurture new leads and identify new opportunities for VALD
  • Use an education-based approach to sales
  • Leverage industry expertise and product knowledge to demonstrate client value
  • Represent VALD at industry conferences and events
  • Target and engage new clients
  • Work with and nurture existing distributor relationships
  • Report on sales pipeline activities

What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience working in a clinical or allied health setting, such as a physiotherapist/physical therapist or similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills via team calls, in-person interaction, and sales pipeline reporting
  • Comfortable with targeting new clients
  • Willing and able to travel for client meetings and industry events
  • Confidence to persuasively demonstrate VALD systems and communicate product and industry knowledge to clients
  • Self-starter who holds themselves accountable for reaching sales targets
  • Prior experience using CRMs and the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products
  • Reside in Doha
  • Speak Arabic and English

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience as a Physical Therapist or Strength and Conditioning Coach
  • Passion for how technology can progress the allied health profession
