About the Role
This position is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities in the Tampa Bay region through proactive outreach, relationship development, and alignment with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new revenue streams within the assigned territory
- Conduct outreach to potential clients through calls, emails, and in-person visits
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Deliver product and service presentations tailored to client needs
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company guidelines
- Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging for local markets
- Gather market intelligence to inform regional strategy
- Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth client onboarding
- Track and report weekly sales activity and forecasts
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor activity
- Attend networking events and industry functions to expand visibility
- Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns
- Support the development of pricing proposals and service agreements
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal sales policies
- Represent the company at trade shows and client-facing events
- Work cross-functionally to resolve client concerns pre-sale
- Analyze customer data to identify expansion opportunities
- Build relationships with decision-makers across target sectors
- Provide feedback to product teams based on client input
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
Nice to Have
- Experience in beverage or consumer goods distribution
- Existing network of industry contacts in Florida
- Master’s degree in business administration or related area
- Certification in sales methodology or professional selling
- Familiarity with route-based sales models
- Bilingual communication skills, especially in Spanish
