Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is looking for a freelance Business Development Manager to expand our IT services presence across Europe. This is a commission-based role where you will drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, engaging clients, and closing deals for custom software solutions.
What You'll Do
- Identify and engage prospective clients across industries for IT services, including web/mobile development, SaaS products, and enterprise applications.
- Develop and implement outbound sales strategies to build and manage a strong pipeline.
- Collaborate with technical teams to shape proposals aligned with client needs.
- Conduct client meetings, demos, and presentations to drive conversions.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and deal closures.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging client demands.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of proven success in IT services or custom software sales.
- Strong understanding of technology stacks, software development lifecycles, and outsourcing models.
- Established network of potential clients (startups, SMBs, or enterprise organizations).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident negotiator with persuasive selling skills.
- Highly self-motivated, independent, and able to manage a remote freelance role efficiently.
