The Business Development Manager for the Middle East Region will play a key role in driving market expansion and revenue growth across GCC, Levant, and North Africa by building strategic partnerships, acquiring new customers, and leading deal execution. At Slingshot Aerospace, you'll represent the company as a key regional leader, working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the needs of dynamic markets.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute regional business development strategies aligned with Slingshot’s growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across priority Middle Eastern markets.
- Conduct market research to assess customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Provide regional insights to inform product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, strategic partners, government entities, and other key stakeholders.
- Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities that expand market reach and accelerate growth.
- Represent Slingshot at regional trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to regional customers.
- Lead negotiations, structure deals, and close contracts in alignment with internal policies and revenue targets.
- Manage and forecast regional sales pipeline, ensuring accurate reporting and visibility.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to support deal execution.
- Monitor performance against KPIs, including pipeline growth, conversion rates, and revenue.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and cultural norms in all business activities.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.
- Demonstrated experience working within Middle Eastern markets.
- Strong regional network and market knowledge in at least one key country (e.g., UAE, KSA, Qatar).
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and close complex deals.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
Nice to Have
- Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Experience selling into government, aerospace, defense, or technology-driven markets.
- Familiarity with long-cycle enterprise or public-sector sales.
- Experience working with cross-border or multinational teams.
