About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll lead broker engagement across Western Australia or South Australia, acting as the primary point of contact for mortgage brokers and driving adoption of innovative low-deposit home loan offerings. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional eager to shape a growing market presence through relationship-building and strategic outreach.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of mortgage brokers, identifying new opportunities and expanding Skip’s network in your region
  • Deliver clear, confident presentations that explain product benefits and eligibility criteria to broker partners
  • Support loan applications by guiding brokers through the process and ensuring smooth deal progression
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and partner meetings to increase visibility
  • Use CRM and sales automation tools effectively to track activity, forecast performance, and maintain accurate records
  • Drive consistent loan volume by turning brokers into long-term advocates through trust and value

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of B2B sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Experience working with mortgage brokers or in financial services, with a solid grasp of lending products
  • Strong understanding of credit criteria and loan underwriting principles
  • Comfortable managing end-to-end sales cycles and owning performance against goals
  • Skilled in using CRM platforms and sales technology to stay organized and efficient
  • A self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of thriving in a high-growth, autonomous environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting to individuals and groups
