As a Business Development Manager, you’ll lead broker engagement across Western Australia or South Australia, acting as the primary point of contact for mortgage brokers and driving adoption of innovative low-deposit home loan offerings. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional eager to shape a growing market presence through relationship-building and strategic outreach.
What You'll Do
- Develop and manage a pipeline of mortgage brokers, identifying new opportunities and expanding Skip’s network in your region
- Deliver clear, confident presentations that explain product benefits and eligibility criteria to broker partners
- Support loan applications by guiding brokers through the process and ensuring smooth deal progression
- Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and partner meetings to increase visibility
- Use CRM and sales automation tools effectively to track activity, forecast performance, and maintain accurate records
- Drive consistent loan volume by turning brokers into long-term advocates through trust and value
Requirements
- 2–5 years of B2B sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Experience working with mortgage brokers or in financial services, with a solid grasp of lending products
- Strong understanding of credit criteria and loan underwriting principles
- Comfortable managing end-to-end sales cycles and owning performance against goals
- Skilled in using CRM platforms and sales technology to stay organized and efficient
- A self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of thriving in a high-growth, autonomous environment
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting to individuals and groups
