RTM Business Group was looking for a Business Development Manager

RTM Business Group is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager for a 100% remote, full-time role. The position involves full-cycle sales, starting with prospecting and pipeline development and progressing toward Account Executive responsibilities, focused on closing deals with C-suite clients in industries such as EdTech, Healthcare, and Banking.

What You'll Do

  • Research target market and identify leads through a variety of sources
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria of an ideal customer profile
  • Prospect leads through tailored, value-add outbound calls, emails and social outreach
  • Conduct daily prospecting activities: ~60 personalized emails and ~30 cold calls with the intent to set appointments
  • Pitch to C-suite decision makers by consulting on their business challenges and demonstrating the value of our service
  • Work directly with Sales Managers and Account Executives to manage pipeline from prospecting to closing
  • Maintain, monitor and report key performance indicators to Sales Managers

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to travel
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Background in Sales, Customer Success, Marketing or B2B events
  • Professional & interpersonal communication skills
  • Passion for sales and professional development
  • Self-starter, extremely organized and detailed-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy
  • Must be proactive and have the ability to work under pressure
  • Competency with technology and ability to learn new software and applications

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HubSpot and/or ZoomInfo

Team & Environment

Join a sales team within a 51-200 person company, working alongside Sales Managers and Account Executives. The team fosters interdepartmental collaboration, supported by team travel that builds strong relationships. You’ll report directly to Sales Managers.

Compensation includes a $50,000 base salary plus bonuses, incentives, and uncapped commission. Year one total compensation expectations: $65,000 - $75,000.

This is a 100% remote role with residency required in one of the following states: CA, FL, TX, PA, GA, OH, IN, SC.
