ASUS is hiring a Business Development Manager - K12 (OH, PA, or NJ)

About the Role

ASUS is looking for a Business Development Manager - K12 responsible for business development and sales within the Top 1000 US Public School Districts in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. You will manage the ASUS Education product portfolio, including Chromebooks, Windows Notebooks, Desktops, and Accessories.

What You'll Do

  • Work with internal Sales and Product Management teams to develop go-to-market strategies.
  • Proactively identify sales opportunities within your assigned school districts.
  • Develop and strengthen ASUS relationships at all levels of the assigned account base.
  • Execute a business plan focused on driving unit and revenue growth against defined targets.
  • Maintain multiple customer contacts, providing routine communication about products, programs, and promotions.
  • Travel to customer locations for face-to-face trainings and meetings to develop business.
  • Perform weekly onsite engagement to drive awareness and build sales pipeline.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8+ years of prior Outside Sales experience in IT Hardware, Software, or Services.
  • High understanding of Public Sector sales and customer acquisition processes.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate the ASUS value proposition and influence at all levels.
  • Expert knowledge of industry trends, competition, customer buying patterns, and marketing techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships across organizations.
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to self-direct and work remotely.
  • High proficiency with the MS Office suite.

Nice to Have

  • Named Account relationships and knowledge of the K12 market.
  • Business plan development and execution experience.
  • Demonstrated quota achievement.
  • Strong knowledge of Commercial Distribution/Reseller Channels and End Customers.
  • Technical proficiency in Computer Hardware/IT environments.
  • Proven ability to sell in complex and dynamic situations.

Team & Environment

This role is assigned to the Education Sales Team within the ASUS Systems Business Group.

The final salary amount will be determined based on the qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.

Work Mode

This is a local-country position requiring work and travel within the assigned territory of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
