Responsibilities
- Secure new contracts for tyre collection and recovery services across the South Island, targeting large commercial enterprises and high-potential small to medium businesses.
- Create and implement a strategic plan for territory management that balances acquiring new clients with maintaining and expanding current accounts.
- Establish and nurture long-term customer relationships by serving as a reliable and knowledgeable point of contact.
- Consistently track, forecast, and manage sales pipelines and activities using Salesforce with a high level of accuracy and discipline.
- Oversee smooth customer onboarding, contract renewals, and internal handovers to ensure positive experiences and ongoing retention.
- Attend and engage in industry events, supplier discussions, and client meetings to enhance visibility and credibility in the tyre recovery sector.
- Proactively find opportunities to expand services within existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and recommending service improvements.
Other
- Frequent travel across the South Island, averaging one to two weeks per month.
